The Village of Roselle established a recycling program for its residents in 1990, in an effort to conserve landfill space and natural resources. Since that time, the recycling program and the types of materials accepted by our hauler have expanded tremendously. The Village of Roselle recycling program includes the following information:

• Carts are available in two sizes (95,65 gallon sizes). 
• Residents who wish to change cart sizes should contact Republic Services at (847) 981-0091.

On occasions where extra or bulky material does not fit into the cart, place the items alongside the cart for manual pickup.

A law enacted in 2012 bans TVs, computers, laptops, keyboards, monitors, printers, peripherals, VCR/DVD players, gaming systems, MP3 players and other electronic items from Illinois landfills. The Village’s waste hauler, Republic Services, is no longer picking up electronic waste at the curb.
