The Roselle Fire Department is offering scheduled Heartsaver CPR/AED courses at the Fire Station throughout 2015. The course teaches all lay rescuers when to phone 9-1-1, how to administer CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to provide relief from choking.
This course targets people who are expected to respond to cardiovascular emergencies in the workplace, home or public locations, and can be used for all lay rescuers who are required to obtain a credential documenting the completion of a CPR course that includes use of an AED. Participants of this class will be certified by the American Heart Association in the Heartsaver AED course.
The class size is limited and costs $40, paid in advance. Courses will be rescheduled in the event of an advanced cancellation. Click here to register online or call the Fire Department at (630) 671-2841 to register.
The class schedule is currently being developed. Please check back for updates.
